The Acton Forum Website, an online journal committed to the free exchange of ideas and opinions, is looking for part-time volunteer reporters to cover Acton committee and board meetings. We are looking for writers who will prepare news articles that will give readers a full review of what happened at these meetings. The writer may also interview members of the boards or committees for additional comments after the meeting representing the Acton Forum.
We are requesting volunteer help for now, with the hope that we can build up viewership and one day, perhaps, generate enough advertising revenue to offer a modest stipend to our correspondents. Those who start with us now and do a good job will get first preference for any future paid positions.
Boards and Committees that we wish to cover typically meet once or twice per month on a regular, published schedule. Each correspondent would cover a specific committee meeting.
